A Rocket in the Sun

A rocket transits the Sun, captured from over 50 miles away from the launch pad. This SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launched from Cape Canaveral, over 50 miles away from my position in Orlando, and carried three NASA/NOAA mission space weather missions into space. This unique shot was able to also capture the definition of the active sunspots on the Sun, with the rocket passing just to the left of sunspot region 4225. If you look close enough, shock waves emanating from the rocket can be seen around the lower edge of the sun.
