A ROLLICKING GOOD TIME
A peaceful and happy crowd a full city block away awaits the daily Mascleta that originates in Valencia, Spain’s central Plaza del Ayuntamiento. This is a pyrotechnic event characterized by the (unbelievably) noisy and rhythmic explosions held every day of early March leading to Fallas, the yearly festival celebrating, among other things, the arrival of Spring that dates to the mid-18th century.
