Bukit Lawang is a jungle outpost in north Sumatra, Indonesia. It is a popular location to observe Sumatran Orangutans in the wild, and has recently experienced several problems related to conservation as a result of increased tourism. This photo was taken on a backstreet in Bukit Lawang as the sun was shining through a small fire.
