A Slice of Ship
The dismantled stern section of the Golden Ray makes its way to a dock in Brunswick, Georgia. The Golden Ray was a 660-foot car carrier that capsized on September 8, 2019, near Saint Simons Island. It was carrying approximately 4300 new vehicles and had to be dismantled in sections. If you look closely, you can see some of these wrecked vehicles and smoke from a smoldering fire.
