Slot canyon in Joshua Tree National Park
This is the only large scale slot canyon in Joshua Tree National Park. The walls of this canyon are roughly 250 feet tall. Once inside the canyon the temperature drops about 20 degrees. One can feel a coolness emanating from the walls. A great place to take a break in the heat of the summer!
