We had big travel around France. Our route was Paris - Chartres - Le Mans - Rennes - Saint-Malo - Mont-Saint-Mitchel - Utah beach - Caen - Paris. In Saint-Malo there was a big port, it exists know as well. It was also famous for it's autonomy from royal power and pirates lived there. It was heavily damaged during the Second World War and restored in 1960s.
