My daughter saw this snake chase and capture a toad in our yard. We watched the snake slowly eat the toad over the next 20-30 minutes. It was hard to believe the snake would be able to actual swallow because the toad was larger than the snake was round, but it managed. Once complete it slithered away - I can only assume to take a nap.
