His first babysitter was his great grandfather, so PopPop holds a special place in his 9 year old heart. His PopPop would ease down on well-worn knees, and play with him on the living room floor. He was deeply saddened when PopPop died last year, and he talks about him often. This year, he asked to visit PopPop, buried at the Maryland Veterans Cemetery at Garrison Forrest. He searched the gravesites, reading the names, and finally found his resting place. He instantly kneeled down, as if he remembered, for a special visit with GrandPa.
