This spectacled owl was coming in for a landing with his eye on the treat on the top of the tree stump. He was part of a flight demonstration at the Birds of Prey Center in Awendaw, South Carolina. The Birds of Prey Center rescues and rehabilitates birds. It also addresses vital environmental issues through avian medicine, research, education programs, and conservation initiatives.
