A Sturgeon Moon in the PA Skies

This photo was taken on August 26, 2018 in Pennsylvania. According to the old farmer’s almanac, sturgeon fish, the largest in North America, are usually caught at this time of year in the Great Lakes and Lake Champlain. Between many other given names for the August Moon, people also call it a “Sturgeon Moon.”
