This is one of my favorite images, because it holds a lot of fun memories for me pre-covid time. It was taken during a trip to Europe with my family. We visited Cinque Terre, Italy and stayed in one of the cities there. While we were there, we befriended a lot of locals, ate a lot of food, and saw a lot of sites. One evening, we were walking along a path that circles the outside of Manarola; one of the five lands of Cinque Terre. We came to the end of the path where concrete met the Amalfi Coast. As the waves crashed on the rock, my brother, an experienced swimmer, had the immediate desire to dive in. He told me of his plan to dive, allowing me time to get in position with my camera. He stepped back, took a deep breathe, and gracefully jumped into the air with his arms behind his back. *Click* *Splash* The moment was gone in an instant. I viewed my camera roll to see if I had captured that beautiful moment. There it was; the image that would easily become one of my favorite photographs I've taken.
