13th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest People
A swimmer avoids a beating from a wave while I get the beating.
My friend Reno and I decided to relax at the beach one day after two years of filming a short film on my photography. As the waves were breaking in clear water I could not resist and decided to shoot Reno body surfing. As this wave broke under water Reno was in the perfect spot to escape. As for me, it did not end well with a leak to the camera housing after this beating.
