The photo was captured on 28 May 2020 during the Covid-19 lockdown in Malaysia. It was one of the nights when the weather was unstable in the South China Sea. This was the first time I witnessed a lightning show that lasted for almost one hour before the rain came. There were sharp flashes of lights continuously, hitting almost every single building that my eye could see.
