This night sky photograph was taken from the coast of Gouldsboro, ME and is facing South. East, or on the left, is the town of Winter Harbor, ME. To the West, or on the right, is Bar Harbor on Mount Desert Island. The latter, with the much brighter lights, is a busy tourist hubble, not much deterred considering this is June 2020. At this point, however, Maine is still considered one of the safest escapes.
