Street lights and electric wires represent life. There are getting married and having children, buying a house or a car, living pressure and so on. They're all hooked up to telephone poles. Because there are too many things attached to the pole, and it is complicated, the pole loses its freedom. As people enter the society, they are more and more closely connected with the affairs, and they are more and more distant from freedom.
