When looking at this image, the viewer is initially attracted by it’s beauty but on closer inspection realizes that all is not as it should be. The images question our lack of connection to the natural world and how this is impacting our environment. We are dependent on Nature for our survival, yet we actively damage the earth without consideration for the consequences. Our lack of connection is not only harming us but has contributed to the loss of many species of animals, birds and insects.
