12th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Altered Images
A tulip and leaf are bathed in raindrops
This past Spring I was able to see the uprising of tulips in my flowerboxes. Here in Vancouver, BC, they started popping up in January. We have a lot of rain and the drops seem like little jewels on the leaf in this photo.
