Our hostel host recommended this site to us, which is not far from Anuradhapura in Central Sri Lanka. We were dead tired having traveled from Colombo by bus the previous day and slept in but still wanted to do some sight seeing in the afternoon. We were the only foreigners at the temple and walking around the site barefoot brought a sense of peacefulness I hadn't felt in ages. I climbed a nearby hill, took note of scene with all its contrasts and shaped a picture on my phone.
