A U.S. flag peacefully waves full staff at sunset
I captured several images of this patriotic beautiful, tranquil sunset on Shrove Tuesday 2018 with soft red, orange and purple accents. The next day was the Ash Wednesday of Lent/St. Valentine’s Day. With the flag so peacefully waving at full staff, who could have thought it would be lowered in mourning for two weeks the very next day for the Stoneman Douglas High School shooting victims.
