When a wedding was cancelled for two years in a row during Covid due to travel restrictions (the bride is from the United States; the groom from India), the bride's friends threw her an Alice in Wonderland themed, socially distanced Un-Wedding Tea Party (complete with individually canned teas instead of a shared teapot). Covid has reminded many in the United States and worldwide that coming together and supporting each other despite trying times is invaluable.
