A view of Mt. Sill in the Palisades region of the Sierra Nevada
This photo is a shot of the eastern side of Mt. Sill in the Sierra Nevadas in August 2015. I was climbing towards the peak of the mountain when I saw this great composition of the steep rock wall of the Palisades jutting up into a stormy sky. The ruggedness of the region is on sharp display with the display of sharp stone against cloud.
