The new volcano Cumbre Vieja in La Palma island has cut in two a whole neighbourhood near the principal town of Los Llanos de Aridane. A residential area, a small town, many banana plantations, gas station, a supermarket, a cement factory and even the cemetery. Is right in the middle of our modern civilisation.
