At St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church in downtown Henderson, Nevada, volunteers feed the hungry six days a week. Those being served might have homes, jobs, and families but may not earn enough to put food on the table every night. Others are from the streets and are homeless, often living in the nearby desert areas. Being the highlight of their day, these people anticipate a warm meal and enjoyable conversations. Feeding up to sixty to one hundred people, the volunteers accept food and clothing donations to make sure those they serve are getting what they need to stay warm, comfortable, and happy.
