The passage between Lower and Upper Echo Lakes
In the high Sierras near Lake Tahoe at about 7,500ft in elevation lie the twin Echo Lakes. Taking a water taxi to the head of the hiking trail we saw some spectacular scenery, none prettier than the passage itself between the lakes with its crystal-clear water.
