The village of Bawonmatalou is situated on a hilltop in the city of Nias,Sumatra, Indonesia. In the past this was a village of warriors, but now they carry on the traditions in the way of warrior dances and games in full costume. The village has this tall pyramid structure which they jump as one of the sports. I captured this frame at one such event I saw on my travels there and found it very unique as there is no room for error when jumping this tall solid structure.
