Every year, the forest department of Karnataka, India, sends it's forest camp elephants for the Dussehra parade, which takes place in the city of Mysuru. The elephants are brought to the city 2 months in advance and are given practice runs, every day to get them habituated to the noise, sounds and pollution of a very happening, busy city. This photograph was taken during such a practice run.
