A Wintery Paddle
Before hanging up our kayaks for the season, we hoped to first have a chance to paddle once in the snow. We got our wish one morning in November when snowflakes began to fall. We paddled on the Little Pend Oreille Lake chain in Northeastern Washington where big flakes were wafting down around us. It felt a little bit like being in a painting, and was magical.
