I was out walking on a lovely July day when I saw three deer grazing in a country pasture. My eyes were drawn to the young doe in this photograph, with soulful brown eyes and fur that looked so soft I felt like touching her. It seemed only appropriate that this beautiful creature would be surrounded by lovely summer grasses and pretty wildflowers.
