During my stay in India, I was honored to be invited to a wedding taking place on the village compound that was housing me. I stood by the gate of the compound as I watched guests from all over the village start to arrive. I admired and photographed all of the beautiful patterns and flowers of the decorated girls and women that quickly filled up the outdoor courtyard.
