A dear friend of mine lived in Kathmandu, and after my visit to Dubai, I decided to spend a week with him. We decided to take a two-day retreat up in the Himalayan mountains. My friend was an NGO worker in the valley, a foreigner, and had been feeling out of place and a bit lonely. We took a two-day retreat into the mountains to spend time together as friends. Near the end of our time together, it seemed fitting to capture a few photos to help us remember the time of refreshing we had both experienced.
