Abandoned monestry land

In the Jordan valley along the border with Jordan, at the Israeli side ther is a "no man's land" - a large empty area in the arid land. In this area about 50 yeras ago, the Christian pilgrim come to visit the Jordan river for baptism in the holy water. They stayed in the monestries during thier visit to the Holy land. After the six-day war, Israel occupied this area and planted mines.
