The Syrian military headquarters, located in the outskirts of Qunaitra, was abandoned in 1967 when Israeli forces seized the Golan Heights during the 6 day war. Nowadays, the deserted 120 meters long, 2 story building is covered with Graffiti and is a must see historic landmark for travelers and photographers visiting the north of Israel, near its border with Syria.
