Abandoned town in rural Virginia

Picture of a series of abandoned buildings in rural Virginia, where it’s less expensive to let the buildings set empty than tear them down. The neglected structures are an all-too familiar reminder of the oftentimes volatile economy and real estate market. It makes one appreciative of the things that matter most in life: one’s family, friends, and relationships.
