About to scramble up & over the Beaver Dam-Adirondacks NY
Kayaking the rivers of the Adirondacks usually includes a Beaver Dam or two. I find them masterful works of art and engineering. They are also the reason water levels are kept high enough to paddle through, so don't find them a nuisance at all, as most paddlers do. This was peak Fall Foliage on the Miami River.
