Above the Eaves
A smiling face, its joy seemingly steeped in the timeless ambiance of the ancient architecture. Nearby, the coiled ridges and upturned eaves of the roof are tightly intertwined, their tiles bearing the rugged textures of passing years. The gentle expression of the Buddha statue contrasts with the sharp forms of the roof guardians, as if weaving Zen philosophy into the very fabric of the structure. When the wind blows, even the light and shadows seem to soften.
