ABSENCE

This photo represents the emptiness left by my mother after her death and is part of a group of three photos representing life and death Presence Departure Absence You were still full of life, but slowly you began to forget, and so you felt lost. Then you stopped speaking, but we managed to communicate through our eyes and feel each other through hugs. You couldn't recognize me anymore, but you held my hand tightly until the very last day.
