Abstract painting by roosting starlings in a Sierra Leone's hero abandoned house

This was the third time we had set out to find the abandoned country house of Sierra Leone's famous Siaka Stevens. The road that leads to the house is in ruins and we had to park our Defender and follow and old caretaker up into the bush. Today, the house lies in absolute ruin and we had been the first to visit it in at least 3 years. Swiping views are the backdrop to what in the past must have been a majestic get-away with a natural pool and lush forests surrounding the property.
