I captured this sunset image on Forked Lake, NY in late September, 2022. Forked Lake is located in the Adirondack Wilderness of upstate New York, about 90 minutes southwest of Saranac Lake. It was a beautiful autumn afternoon with two very different sets of clouds forming across the horizon. It was a calm evening so the light reflected off the water nicely. I also like how the sunset subtly lights-up the autumn trees and color on both sides of the image.
