Total exhaustion is seen in the body language of this firefighter. On burn day, which is the last day of the Citizens Fire Academy course, live fires are set and then extinguished by the students. Each student goes with the instructor into a bunker where a 400 to 500 degree fire is burning. There they practice the skills they have learned in classes leading up to this day. This firefighter/instructor has been in and out of the bunker for several hours during the day long training session.
