Afternoon in Itacaré

Everyday people gather in Itacaré to contemplate the sunset. While some people sing to the Orishas (african culture gods, due the strong african culture that remains in Bahia) you can see the fishing boats coming back from a day of work. Some fisherman like those in this photo, still make their final attempt to assure the daily meal. Its a contemplative and immersive scene that repeats day after day.
