I love these big cats, and it breaks my heart knowing lions face so many challenges-- interbreeding, loss of habitat, high cub mortality rates, human/wildlife conflict, and more. Lions are majestic animals. Each and every time I go to Africa (so far I'm at 7 trips, with my 8th coming up in December), I look forward to photographing and observing these beautiful cats.
