Growing up in Hong Kong, I am very used to a fast paced life. People in Novgorod really amazed me -When they were walking around and see sth that interested them, they would stop and take a look. Not just a peep, but standing right there to watch. And the person who was being watched clearly noticed him but he didn't mind at all, and 3 of them even started a conversation afterwards. The friendliness and relaxing life really amazed me and changed the way how I look at Russian people.
