I live about thirty miles from the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley. When two friends came to town to visit, they, as big admirers of the 40th president, wanted to see the landmark. As someone who has his teaching credentials in the social sciences and had never been there, I was excited by the prospect as well. And it didn't disappoint, having a very extensive collection of Reagan collectibles, memorabilia and personal items going back to his childhood on through his presidency.
