14th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Natural World
Alaskan kisses
We were dropped off on a bush plane in the Alaskan tundra south of Lake Clark National Park. The area is untouched, beautiful and serene. It is ecologically one of the most clean and natural settings we could ever encounter. We observed grizzlies in their natural habitat until dusk. What an experience!
