All legs off ground cheetah impala chase.
In Kenya's Masai Mara, Olare Orok Conservancy, a female cheetah provided impala for her four cubs. She usually killed a male impala, which our Maasai guide said was one ousted from being a herd dominant male by a younger male. On its own away from a herd, and consequently having fewer eyes around to detect danger, the lone males were more frequently taken. She kills three male impala during the week we were there.
