All the Lonely People

Sadly, homelessness is a huge part of the English culture that surprised me given how frigid and unkind the weather is. The other huge part of England’s culture is its musical heritage, especially prominent in Liverpool, being the birthplace of The Beatles. In Liverpool I visited the statue for Eleanor Rigby from the Beatles’s song and it is dedicated to “All the lonely people”. The homeless man sleeping next to it broke my heart it was so devastatingly poetic.
