On a recent trip to Mongolia, I was fortunate to attend a small, local Naadam Festival. The events were traditional Mongolian wrestling, archery & horse racing. This young boy was one of the kids participating in the horse race. It was late afternoon in the Gobi Desert & the light was breathtaking. His expression & the way the horse’s mane caught the light as he rode by me, is one of my favorite memories from my Mongolian adventure.
