This lonely saguaro sits in the Salt River valley east of the Superstition Mountains. The photo of a lonely cactus was taken from a trail off of "The Road to Young" after a rare snow dusted the peaks. The scene seemed to beg for black and white and a panoramic crop to give it the feel of the cinematography of the classic Western films.
