Alpamayo High Camp

The Alpamayo is known for being one of the most beautiful mountains in the world, located in the White Andean Mountain Range of Huaraz, it takes 4 hiking days and a climbing day at a fast speed to reach the high camp. In this opportunity, I was starting to feel sick in the first day of hiking, nevertheless, I still tried my best to get to the Arhuaycocha Base camp, from there, Nacho who was guiding me and I would attempt to reach the high camp, but due to the equipment overweight and the disease I had (which later turned out to be Covid) I had to pull back whilst being in the glacier part, with around 300 meters remaining for the high camp. Regardless of not achieving the goal of reaching the high camp, I had the opportunity to capture with my drone the view from the High camp filled with snow that accumulated from the past 2 days. This is an essential part for my landscape photography book that will be completed next year.
