American Flag in the Rain
Rain lashed against the windowpane in rivulets & clusters of drops both fat & miniscule. Peering closely, I noticed red, white, & blue waving, reversed & upside down. I felt protected, looking out my window in rain, snow, or sunshine, knowing that the flag was- & always will be- still there.
